It samples five Vietnamese cities — Hanoi (capital culture + Ho Chi Minh complex), Sapa (Fansipan cable car + Cat Cat H'mong village), Halong Bay (UNESCO overnight cruise), Da Nang / Hoi An (lantern town + Ba Na Hills Golden Bridge), and Ho Chi Minh City (Cu Chi Tunnels + Reunification Palace) — in a paced 10-day shape that balances driving, flying, and overnight transitions so guests never repeat a hotel they've slept in.

The 10-day shape · why this sequence works
Vietnam is 1,650 km long. The scheduling problem is the gap between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City: most flights take 2h 15min but you lose half a day on each transfer (airport + security + boarding + arrival pickup). A 10-day shape needs to absorb two flights without exhausting the guest.
Our solution: cluster Hanoi (Days 1-5) so guests sleep in the same Hanoi hotel 3 nights with Sapa as a 2-day spike out (Day 2-3 overnight sleeper bus to Sapa · Day 3 evening sleeper bus back to Hanoi). Halong overnight Day 4 → Day 5 morning return → afternoon flight to Da Nang means one packing day, not three. Da Nang base (Days 5-7) covers Hoi An (45min drive south) and Ba Na Hills (45min west) without changing hotel. Final flight Day 8 morning to HCMC for Cu Chi Day 9 + departure Day 10. What if Halong cruise gets cancelled due to typhoon (Aug-Sep)?
Halong cruise operators have a typhoon-cancellation policy: 100% refund of the cruise portion OR reschedule to next available date (no fee). ATL DMC will then adjust the day-by-day to backfill the lost night (typically extra Hanoi night + Ninh Binh day trip Day 5b OR full refund of cruise + transfer portion). Hằng monitors Vietnam Maritime Administration advisories Aug-Sep and proactively contacts guests within 48 hours of any advisory. For peace of mind, May-Sep bookings include this clause in writing.
How does pricing work for kids / children?
Children pricing follows the Vietnamese tour-operator industry standard: kids 0-5 years sharing parent's room = FREE (no charge for accommodation · meals · transport · tour entrances) · kids 6-11 years sharing parent's room = 50% of adult rate (own bed in 2-bed family room OR rollaway · own meals · own entrance fees) · kids 12+ years = full adult rate.
